WILLIAM A. DORR
Project Specialist, Innovations in Family Recruitment

William Dorr brings a wealth of experience in child welfare to his role of project specialist for the Innovations in Family Recruitment project.

Mr. Dorr has held numerous positions with the New York State Office of Children and Family Services, including manager of the Albany Regional Office and program operations analyst at OCFS headquarters. He served as assistant bureau director for the OCFS Division of Early Childhood Services for eight years prior to his retirement.

Mr. Dorr holds a bachelor’s degree from Alderson-Broaddus College in West Virginia and completed studies for a master’s degree in social work at SUNY Albany.
